It is a Fluid-O-Tech pump. Stainless steel or brass housings with 3/8″ GAS or NPT ports and internal relief valves are available with the PO 70-400 series positive displacement rotary vane pumps. Nominal flow rates range between 70 and 400 l/h at 1450 rpm. In addition to 1725 rpm, this vane pump series can deliver 530 liters per hour at a maximum flow of 1725 rpm. It can discharge pressures up to 16 bar (230 psi). This series includes a coupler and adapter for mounting on M71, M80, and NEMA 56C motors.

How to mount the pump onto the motor?
a) An electric motor with clamp mounting (type 48YZ)
- Ensure that the motor is disconnected from the electricity.
- Attach the clamp to the pump by inserting it on the shaft side.
- Connect the pump and motor by inserting the pump shaft into the motor shaft and pushing it until it stops.
- Adjust the pump to your desired position.
- The clamp should be positioned so that it can surmount both the pump and the motor rings.
- The clamp screw should be tightened using a torque of at least 1-1.5Nm.
- Clamp the pump on the motor tightly enough so that it doesn’t rotate.
- If the pump is noisy during start-up, the clamp screw must be untightened, the pump repositioned, and the clamp screw retightened.
- Adding a 48YZ optional coupling (92-80-04) between the pump and motor will prevent the pump from being noisy.
b) An electric motor with a mounting hole in the form of either NEMA 56C or B14
- It is important to unplug the motor from the electrical system.
- Attach the coupling to the motor by mounting the motor side on the motor.
- Secure the set screw (only for couplings equipped with a set screw).
- Attach the shock absorber to the coupling on the motor side.
- Place the coupling’s pump end inside the shock absorber.
- Screw the adapter to the motor flange and tighten it.
- Secure the coupling around the pump shaft.
